tofebruary.com is a site based in the US mainly selling asian fasion and cute jewelry.

I used to follow their shop when you had a Soompi shop and they had amazing products at amazing prices! I'm happy to see that they've expanded to selling worldwide and have their own website now. :)

They're products are really cute and reasonably priced! I recommend everyone to check it out!

I ordered a SHINEE phone plug-in for part of my friends birthday present for $8 US total. It was processed the next day and delievered the following - so I got it within 2 days! :)

This is what the package looked like:

The cellphone plug-in came in it's own separate box which I found was pretty cute! She gave me 3 cute bookmarks as a gift.  She (Cara) also wrote a note saying how she remembered me seeing her in Santa Monica, CA about 2 years ago!

The box has a little cushion for the plug-in to sit on which I thought was pretty nice and thought that they really took the time to package it nicely :)

Their customer service is awesome & their shipping is super fast (if you live in US)! I will definitely buy from them again, and Cara is super nice!! ^_^

YESWALKER CUSTOMER COMPLAINT!!

They have terrible customer service!! When I got the e-mail that my products have been shipped, I checked my credit card account to see if they took the money out & they already had - no problem, I like to get things done quickly as well.
But to my concern, they charged me twice leaving me negative! (Negative because it was a gift card/credit card type thing & I had exact to pay for my items... not double + extra $$) One was even the wrong price. (Which I have no evidence of anymore because I was checking it on my phone while I was out and e-mailed them right away when I saw it.) A few hours later that day, I checked my account again and one charge was gone... but it was the wrong one!!

I e-mailed them again and they responded a few days later saying that they never charged me twice and that they charged me the exact amount. (They made this very clear it was the exact amount)
They also added that they are not responsible for any exchange rate billed on my card ( which will probably be the cause for the wrong price charged on my card ) I checked the website and it does not state anything about the exchange rate on the product page at all. I went to the customer service page and found out that they had a reference currency tool -but nowhere to be found. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They should at least be sorry for the inconvenience and no warning of the exchange rate on the check out page or product page instead of telling me to use PayPal instead of a credit card. (Sure, it was my fault I didn't use PP - but it was a visa gift card, not a real credit card. )

The exchange rate was a small amount, but I would've been happier with them telling me BEFORE I purchased anything.

Japanese Kit Kats

I picked up 4 different flavors this weekend: Passionfruit, Hazelnut, Cookies &Cream, and Orange.

Each bag was about the same price as mentioned before in my other post. $6/bag.

So far, I've only tried the passion fruit and cookies and cream. The passion fruit has a cirtusy taste and when I gave it to my friends they thought it was lemon flavored. 

The cookies and cream reminds me of the other kit kat (which was also cookies and cream) except this one was more milky and it actually looked like a cookies and cream milkshake on the outside whereas the other one was just white on the outside.

The cookies and cream is still by far my favorite flavor! :)

Wishful Wednesday? [ Etude House ]

It's not Wednesday but who cares? :) I actually have time to sit down and blog today. ^-^

1. Etude House Baby Doll Puff ( $8~$9 )
I've been wanting to try a beauty blender but I didn't want to spend the money on it especially since I RARELY wear BB Cream. (I don't even own foundation .__. ) I saw this and thought the packaging was so cute! Etude House never fails on their packaging! :D It is still quite pricey just for a 'face sponge' you can find at TJ MAXX for $4, but I believe the extra $4 for the packing and the name "Etude House" is worth it. Plus I love how the center has a crease where your fingers can have a nice grip on it.

2. Etude House Cleansing Puff (Oval) ( ~$4 )
I saw Bubzbeauty on youtube use these types of sponges to wash her face many times instead of using a wash cloth. She also mentioned that using a sponge is more gentle on your skin. Ever since then, I've been trying to find these types of sponges for a loooong time.

3. Etude House Ribbon Ice Tumbler ( $ varies )

I just want it because it's so cute! I could put my morning smoothies into it an go to school. ^_^ Plus, it's also limited edition. :3

4. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit SPF30/PA++ ( $13 ~$16 )

This has been the rave around the BB Cream world for quite awhile but I still haven't finished my Etude House Shini Star BB Lotion or my pink Skin79 so I felt like it would be a waste of money. Especially since I RARELY wear face makeup. I'm definitely going to try it out soon! :) I just don't know which color to get - it's definitely a battle between the two in the middle.

5. Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener Toner 500ml ( $20 ~$25 )

This product has also been raved about among the best korean beauty products. I've been in need of a new toner since I'm almost done with my Skinfood cucumber one. All of the reviews on this have been positive so far!  I'll look into buying this soon. :)

Back from NorCal !

I went up north to visit Thomas at school for an entire week. I went to San Jose, Santa Cruz and San Francisco with him !

Did my eyebrows!

I've been deciding to get my eyebrows done/ do them for a very long time but my mom kept saying no. ><
She finally let me so I asked my friend if she could do it for me and offered to pay her as well :)

REVIEW: Skin Food Lettuce & Cucumber Toner

Overall Rating: 8.0 out of 10
Price: 6.0 out of 10 (I got it for $20 in store but you can find it online for cheaper)
Quality: 8.5 out of 10 (It does keep your skin clean & very soft!)
Packaging: 5.0 out of 10 (Packaging is very cute, but the glass bottle is very inconvenient. I was always scared to knock it over on the bathroom counter.)

I walked into my local Skin Food store and was lured in to buy this  by the cashier. It wasn't a bad kind of luring but a good one - where they actually know about their products and they actually know how to sell it! Props to their customer service.

Anyway, this toner does the job well. It's not a bad toner but there are better ones out there. I loved the smell! It smelled so refreshing and cool. This toner has a gel-like texture so it was hard to get it out of the bottle at first. Even thought it has a gel-like texture it absorbs into the skin really well. I'm not sure if it had any brightening effects but it made my face seem more vibrant and awake looking after I had used it. It also made my skin really smooth. This is definitely a gentle toner - the smell does not linger, it does not feel harsh on your skin. I felt like it did help minimize my pores, although when I stopped using it my pores seemed to become bigger - not sure why, or if it was only me hallucinating.

Cookie's n Cream & Green Tea!

They're not opened because I've already tried them before and they're for Thomas' roommates! :)

Cookies n Cream: DELICIOUS! It's like Oreos with a crunch. If you love Oreo's I recommend you try this! It's sweet but not overly powering with sweetness like American chocolates.

Green Tea: The first time I had it, it had a bleh kind of flavor because I am not a 'tea-person' but after a few of them I grew to enjoy them more. The tea flavor isn't that strong, and it is a bit sweet. If you love MATCHA GREEN TEA this is a perfect snack for you :)

My friend Mimi from elementary school was visiting California for her spring break so we decided to meet up. She's originally from Kansas City, Missouri.

I took her to Ajisen for lunch because we felt like eating ramen. :3

Her aunt ordered an Fried Tofu as an appetizer for us and it was delicious! Piping hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside ... mmm :) It reminded me of Dim Sum...

I ordered the Premium Pork Ramen as well as Mimi and they gave me sooo much this time! I am usually able to finish it but this time I couldn't lol ):

After lunch, her aunt wanted to get shaved ice so we got 2 to-go cups and they were obviously not to-go. We couldn't even finish one... and we still had about 3/4 of the other cup left LOL.

Sammydress.com Haul/Review

After going through a bunch of negative reviews and a few positive ones I decided to order from sammydress.com after watching TiliaMac's video on youtube. ( My friend actually knows the Mac sisters which is AHHMAZING- && he never told me... wth?! )Anyway, she said that her shipping only took 4 days which I was surprised to hear since everyone's reviews were about shipping.
A lot of people on youtube with reviews from them actually received $15 credit to spend so I was iffy about purchasing when I found out that no one actually spent their own money AND received poor quality products.

My overall shipping experience:

I ordered my package on February 13, 2013 and it arrived February 26, 2013. My shipping for 3 items (depends on weight of items) was $20.10 I was given the option to pay for the tracking number and insurance and I opted for insurance ($1.62). My order status changed to "Shipped" the next day and a tracking number was provided (I think it came with the insurance?)
You won't be able to track your package right away because it has to go through customs. It finally showed up on the tracking website as "Acceptance" on February 18. It arrived in US on February 25, and I received it the next day.

I was REALLY impressed by this sweater. No loose strings or threads at all. Looks exactly like the picture and it is really comfy and warm for the spring time! Definitely my favorite purchase!

This long sleeve was okay. Really thick quality but it is really tight in the chest area. I wear a size S in shirts.
A few loose threads ON the shirt. Not hanging from the shirt or attached to the shirt.
Maybe I should slim down and it would look really nice on lol.

Good quality! It was very spacious inside - bigger than I thought it would be. Inside lining feels cheap, but there's nothing wrong with that unless you care about it. After 1 week, it still has a very bad odor - I don't know how to get rid of it.
